Steel Products Trading

Comprehensive steel supply solutions from structural grades to specialty alloys for construction, manufacturing and infrastructure projects.

Steel remains the foundation of global infrastructure, construction, manufacturing and energy systems. At ANVILEX, we specialize in wholesale trading and international distribution of carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and specialized grades, serving construction companies, fabricators, manufacturers and industrial processors across regional and global markets.

We work with integrated steel mills, mini-mills and scrap-based producers, with a strong emphasis on secondary steel sourcing — material recovered from demolished structures, end-of-life vehicles, industrial equipment and manufacturing scrap. This approach delivers cost efficiency, supply flexibility and supports circular economy principles that are increasingly important to industrial buyers.

From sourcing to delivery, we manage the full supply chain: material verification, quality certification, export documentation and logistics coordination through UAE trade corridors. Our partnerships are built on reliability, transparency and long-term commitment to operational excellence.

Our Steel Portfolio

Carbon Steel & Structural Steel

Carbon steel accounts for over 90% of global steel production and is the workhorse material for construction, infrastructure and heavy industry. We supply hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils, plates, beams (I-beams, H-beams), channels, angles, rebar and wire rod in various grades and specifications.

Where it comes from:

  • Demolished buildings and infrastructure — structural beams, columns, reinforcement bars and metal decking from commercial, residential and industrial demolition projects
  • End-of-life vehicles — car bodies, chassis, frames and components from automotive recycling yards
  • Railway infrastructure — used rails, railroad ties, switches and rolling stock materials
  • Industrial equipment scrap — machinery frames, pressure vessels, storage tanks and manufacturing equipment
  • Manufacturing offcuts — production waste from steel service centers, fabrication shops and stamping plants

Steel scrap is categorized by grade and cleanliness (HMS 1/2, shredded scrap, plate and structural, busheling), then remelted in electric arc furnaces (EAF) or basic oxygen furnaces (BOF) to produce new steel products. Recycled steel maintains full structural integrity and meets the same performance standards as steel made from iron ore.

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel combines corrosion resistance, strength and aesthetic appeal, making it essential for food processing, chemical plants, medical equipment, architecture and consumer goods. We trade austenitic (300 series), ferritic (400 series) and duplex stainless grades in sheet, coil, tube, bar and plate form.

Where it comes from:

  • Industrial processing equipment — tanks, piping, heat exchangers and reactors from chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries
  • Kitchen and catering equipment — commercial appliances, sinks, countertops and food preparation surfaces
  • Automotive exhaust systems — catalytic converters, mufflers and exhaust piping (also valuable for precious metal content)
  • Construction and architectural elements — cladding, handrails, elevator panels and decorative fixtures
  • Manufacturing scrap — trimmings, turnings and rejected parts from stainless fabrication and machining

Stainless scrap is sorted by grade (304, 316, 430, etc.) to preserve alloy chemistry during remelting. Nickel and chromium content make stainless scrap particularly valuable, and recycling rates are high due to strong economic incentives.

Alloy Steel & Tool Steel

Alloy steels contain additional elements (chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, tungsten) to enhance hardness, wear resistance, heat tolerance or other properties. Tool steels are specialized high-carbon, high-alloy grades used for cutting tools, dies and molds. We supply alloy bars, forgings, plates and tool steel blocks for industrial manufacturing.

Where it comes from:

  • Worn or obsolete cutting tools — drill bits, end mills, taps, dies and saw blades from metalworking shops
  • Industrial dies and molds — injection molds, stamping dies, forging dies and extrusion tooling
  • Heavy machinery components — gears, shafts, bearings and structural parts from mining, construction and manufacturing equipment
  • Oil and gas equipment — drill pipe, casing, valves and high-pressure fittings containing chromium-molybdenum alloys
  • Aerospace and defense scrap — landing gear, turbine components and structural elements made from high-performance alloys

Tool steel scrap is especially valuable due to its alloying elements. Specialized recyclers sort and process this material to recover tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium and other strategic metals.

Galvanized & Coated Steel

Galvanized steel (zinc-coated for corrosion protection) is widely used in construction, automotive, appliances and HVAC systems. We supply hot-dip galvanized (HDG) and electro-galvanized (EG) coils, sheets and corrugated profiles, as well as pre-painted and polymer-coated steel products.

Where it comes from:

  • Roofing and siding materials — corrugated panels, metal roofing sheets and wall cladding from demolished structures
  • HVAC ductwork — ventilation systems, air conditioning units and metal ducting
  • Automotive body panels — galvanized sheet steel from car recycling (body-in-white scrap)
  • Appliance housings — washing machines, refrigerators, ovens and other white goods
  • Guard rails and fencing — roadside barriers, perimeter fencing and safety structures

Galvanized scrap is processed to remove zinc coating (either through decoating furnaces or accepted as-is in certain steel grades), then remelted. The zinc itself is often recovered and recycled separately.

Specialty Steel Products

Beyond commodity grades, we facilitate trades in electrical steel (silicon steel for transformers and motors), spring steel, bearing steel, boiler plate and other specialized products used in energy, transportation and precision manufacturing.

Where it comes from:

  • Power generation equipment — transformer cores, generator laminations and electrical components containing silicon steel
  • Automotive springs and suspension — coil springs, leaf springs and stabilizer bars
  • Industrial bearings — bearing races, balls and rollers from machinery, vehicles and equipment
  • Pressure vessels and boilers — decommissioned industrial boilers, steam drums and pressure containment systems

These materials often contain specific alloying elements or heat treatments that make them valuable for specialty steel production.

Why Secondary Steel?

Steel is the most recycled material on earth, with recycling rates exceeding 85% in many markets. Secondary steel isn’t a compromise — it’s a strategic advantage:

Cost efficiency: Scrap-based steel production costs significantly less than integrated blast furnace routes, savings that flow through to buyers

Supply flexibility: Local and regional scrap availability reduces dependence on distant iron ore mines and long-distance shipping

Energy savings: Recycling steel uses 60–75% less energy than primary production, lowering both costs and carbon footprint

Quality equivalence: Modern electric arc furnace (EAF) technology produces steel that meets or exceeds the performance of blast furnace steel

Circular economy compliance: Construction, automotive and manufacturing sectors increasingly require recycled content to meet sustainability targets and ESG reporting standards

Faster turnaround: Shorter supply chains and established scrap networks enable quicker delivery and more responsive logistics

Our Sourcing & Logistics Process

We maintain relationships with integrated steel mills, EAF producers, scrap processors and licensed demolition contractors across Europe, CIS countries, the Middle East and Asia. Every supplier is evaluated for quality standards, regulatory compliance and operational consistency.

Each transaction includes:

  • Material specification and verification — grade confirmation, dimensional tolerances, surface quality and mechanical properties
  • Third-party inspection and certification — SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or equivalent laboratory testing
  • Documentation and compliance — mill test certificates (MTC), certificates of origin, export licenses and customs clearance
  • Logistics coordination — container shipping, bulk cargo or break-bulk handling through UAE ports (Jebel Ali, Hamriyah, Khalifa Port)
  • Delivery management — to client facilities, fabrication shops, warehouses or construction sites

We structure contracts based on client requirements: recurring monthly tonnages for steady production environments, or project-based orders for construction and infrastructure development. Our objective is to eliminate procurement uncertainty and provide predictable material flows.

Product Forms & Applications

We supply steel in the forms required by end users:

Long products: Rebar, wire rod, beams, channels, angles, bars, pipes and tubes — used in construction, infrastructure and manufacturing

Flat products: Hot-rolled coil (HRC), cold-rolled coil (CRC), plates, sheets, strips — used in automotive, appliances, construction and fabrication

Tubes and pipes: Seamless and welded tubes, structural hollow sections, oil country tubular goods (OCTG) — used in oil and gas, construction, automotive and furniture

Specialized forms: Billets, blooms, slabs (semi-finished products for rerolling), wire products, fasteners, forgings
